POSITION TITLE: Associate Manager – Credit Marketing
REPORTS TO: Sr. Manager - Credit
SUPERVISES: Credit Analyst
POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for supporting and implementing programs to support the overall strategic direction of the American Eagle Credit Card program. Together with the Senior Manager, this position will partner with internal and external partners to create and execute programs with the objective of driving sales through membership, overall customer engagement, and cross-channel activity. You will have one direct report (Credit Analyst) who will partner with you to support the analysis and executional needs of the credit card program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with Senior Manager on strategic roadmap and own building out seasonal campaigns to support key initiatives.
- Propose testing strategies to maximize financial return on credit marketing campaigns.
- Mine cardholder KPI metrics, identifying trends, opportunities, and risk.
- Develop and maintain an accurate credit marketing calendar inclusive of all initiatives and touchpoints and communicate to necessary cross-functional partners.
- Manage campaign briefing & routing process to ensure consistent, compliant messaging across all credit marketing campaigns and channels.
- Lead seasonal campaign hindsight process by clearly detailing campaign results and recommendations for future campaigns.
- Own day-to-day relationship with marketing counterparts at external credit card partner.
- Partner with Store Operations and credit card partner field sales teams to continue to optimize program based on direct field and customer feedback.
- Own GWP seasonal process, inclusive of working with internal and external partners from concept to execution.
- Assist the field with operational reporting, performance analysis, and sharing best practices.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing required
- 2-4 years related experience in credit card marketing; 2 years minimum experience in marketing
- Knowledge of DTC and Digital Marketing best practices
- High degree of proficiency in MS Office + Google Suite & Internet applications
- Willingness to learn and use reporting tools, such as Tableau
- Working knowledge of submitting and tracking Jira tickets
- Working knowledge of submitting and managing ARIBA requests
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong prioritizing, analytical, presentation, project management & planning skills
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team and across business functions
- Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines
