POSITION TITLE: Brand Intern
REPORTS TO: Manager – Brand Experience
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Assist Brand Managers to sustain and grow the Aerie business through impactful experiential event marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Keep current on industry changes and competition providing recommendations on where and how to activate across in-real-life and digital experiential marketing.
- Research and brainstorm ways in which we can creatively show up and reach new audiences with our brand
- Collaborate with cross functional teams on strategic initiatives for Aerie including, but not limited to: hind-sighting and planning of future marketing programs, customer acquisition and retention strategies.
- Develop and manage marketing plan and recap documents related to brand experience/event information
- Assist in event management with brand managers including, but not limited to: developing event idea, run of show, sourcing promotional products, finding and working with 3rd party vendors, planning with cross functional partners, marketing to promote the event and drive attendance, etc
- Assist in on-site event execution including, but not limited to: event setup, breakdown, flow through, talent management and activations
- Collaborate on and lead other projects and responsibilities as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A college junior working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Social or Digital Media, English, Public Relations, Communication, or related field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- High degree of proficiency Google, including Google Slides, Sheets, Mail, Calendar & Internet applications
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, & planning skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
