POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Graphic Designer – Corporate Communications and Investor Relations
PURPOSE
As the Graphic Designer for Corporate Communications and Investor Relations, you will be responsible for the graphic design of visual text and imagery concepts for all products related to investor relations, internal and external communications, and corporate social responsibility (CSR). The successful candidate should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that forms a meaningful connection. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading global specialty retailer and assist AEO in our goal to inspire, inform and captivate our internal and external audiences with leading creative and design.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and design a wide range of materials that may include content for web pages, artwork, presentations, programming collateral, signage, social content and internal communications
- Collaborate, brainstorm and strategize with multiple cross-functional partners
- Ensure all designs meet brand guidelines and match the voice and style of AEO
- Knowledge of current design software and skilled with every step of the design process from concept to the final deliverable
- Self-starter who will maintain high quality of work with attention to detail
- Design and present graphic concepts for all initiatives related to communications and investor relations that have a creative need
- Update and maintain internal databases of designs, photography and video
- Meet all set production deadlines
- Special projects as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s Degree (Graphic Design, Media, Instructional Design or related field)
· Proficient in design applications: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, etc.
· 4-7 years of experience in professional graphic design
· Portfolio demonstrating a passion for digital design and a mastery of online visual communication
· Conceptual, creative thinker-who can strive in a fast pace environment
· Professional, detail oriented, innovative, positive team player with high standards and a strong work ethic
· Excellent communication skills, in both personal interactions and through creative assets
